About the mission

Children are curious about the world. Junior Help will create or share learning and training opportunities for children to learn about nature, economics, society and other key rising topics. Junior Help's effort is to build knowledge foundation and nurture curiosity for children and friends about the world.

Our Project

Junior Help has come back from An Phat Factory, Hai Duong with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, and you all might wonder how a trip to a bioplastic factory looks like.

We were so excited to have new friends from Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. The children there, like us, were friendly, warm at heart, and curious about the factory. We were very focused and very eager to learn new thing, so that we can contribute, even small things, for better future.

The lesson An Phat prepared and presented to us is all about plastic and waste. We get to learn that effective and harmful ways plastic do to our environment and daily lives. We also get to learn about sorting trash. I think this lesson is very educational, and I have a feeling that everyone in every age group should learn about this and hopefully use what they have learned to save the environment.

The experience of having our first tour inside a bioplastic factory is slightly odd to us all, but looking at all the gadgets, machines, and all the crates and boxes, we all think this place is impressive. The workers here are generous and friendly. We might not have had a fun tour if the workers weren’t here to help us.

Finally, we together had lunch at the factory, beside An Phat workers. Foods were so yummy!!!

After a morning field trip, I want to tell you that we should do things that benefit not only us, but also for the environment, and for everyone. Help the environment, one right move makes you become a good person on the planet.

Thanks a lot to An Phat Group for hosting Junior Help and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. We will have more events and have more volunteers join Junior Help so that any children can contribute to community.

ONLINE LIBRARY BY 4THEYOUTHFOUNDATION

Junior Help is sharing the project information, calling for donation to the Online Library by 4TheYouthFoundation as follow:

1. Online library: 4TheYouth - SOS Go Vap

- 5-10 laptops/tablets due to small library area of 30m2 (used but still in good condition)

- Volunteers work/teach children every week: 2-3 children/middle school students

- Sources of money, core human resources and operating programs of the library: from Tuition fees for teaching Public Forum debate of Vietnam Public Forum Academy and resources of 4TheYouth Foundation, Vietnam Public Forum Academy and Inspire Youth Debate

- The time we accept contributions is from today until June 1, 2024

- Computer reception: please give us your address so we can contact you to receive the computer

- Other donations for about 150 children in SOS Go Vap village: school supplies and clothes

2. Online library: 4TheYouth – Dang Sron

(Dang Sron is a remote ethnic minority village in Ninh Gia commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province)

- 5 -10 computers/tablets (used but still in good condition)

- Volunteers working/teaching the children every week: by students in the Inspire Youth Debate@Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted Debate Club and students of Tran Dai Nghia Specialized School, City. HCM is in charge

- The time we accept contributions is from today until June 30, 2024
